Updating church organization to ministry teams

The Directional Team is responsible to faithfully and lovingly steward the Doctrine, Direction and Discipline of the church (1 Timothy 3:1‐7; Titus 1:5‐9; Acts ).Many churches have moved from having committees to ministry teams.

Ministry and support teams are one way to connect members systematically to be the body of Christ.I am convinced that teams are the most effective way to complete the mission of God for your church because they best match the biblical analogy of integrated teams of organs in a body.If this change moves the body to a greater expression of God's design for the church, then it is a good change. If so, then ministry teams should be: Some groups called "committees" already function as a team. This congregation will have a plan for mission service opportunities for all ages and all stages of faith so that people live as Christian disciples transforming the world.

We are a witness for Christ through loving service and sensitive proclamation of our faith through healthcare, business-as-missions endeavors, the creative arts, education, creation care, and equipping national believers.

All the members work as a unit to follow the directions of the brain.
