But, the death of her older brother placed the film on hiatus.
Not only did Janet Jackson lose her brother, but she would soon end her relationship with Jermaine Dupri.
Though that was a highlight of the night, apparently, the most memorable moment came when Perry announced that he’s expecting his first child.
TP and his Ethiopian banger have been notoriously tightlipped about their relationship, but since BOSSIP broke the news of their expectancy a few details did manage to leak, including the sex of the baby (a boy) and the fact that the couple were set to deliver the child in late fall.
The timing works out just about perfectly with Sunday, November 30, which is when we believe Tyler and Gelila welcomed their son.
Hmm…Let me say, several things ran through my head when I read this.
Perry’s work always has such strong Christian themes as the backdrop, so I wondered did he get married and I missed the news? But I think the more likely answer is that Tyler;s probably going to adopt or have a child through some type of surrogacy situation.
Once there was also rumor about them getting married and they being each other loving spouse but that was just the rumor.
They are still together and they also have a child from this married life.
And if I had to guess, I’d assume that Bekele is not the mother of this child.
But I’m sure there will be plenty of updates about this one.
Tyler Perry was from the humble background born as Emmitt Perry Jr.
in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States of America to Willie Maxine Perry and Emmitt Perry, Sr.. In 2009, he was seen having romantic love affairs with Gelila Bekele. She is also known to be a humanitarian and social activist.
While neither Tyler, nor Gelila has made a peep about about their son’s birth, Gelila’s sis (pictured above) couldn’t contain her excitement: What do you think Bossip fam, is this confirmation enough that Oprah should be sending over a basket of goodies now?
