Your tanks should be able to whistand a lot of punishment, so i selected Bard 1/Fighter 4/Red Dragon Disciple 10/Frenzied Bersekr 1 and Fighter 7/ Dwarven Defender 9. The most succesful party I created was composed by two tanks, a cleric, a sorcerer, plus Umoja (Druid) and Belueth the Calm (Rogue) as cohorts.
